Today we are happy to present you author Rebecca Graf and her work DEEP CONNECTIONS, a thrilling Paranormal Romance.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m very introverted. To go into a strange place where I don’t know people terrifies me. I almost get sick to my stomach. Even going to family events gets me upset and sick. I’m always scared of what I’ll say or do wrong and what others think of me. This came from overhearing conversations about me in school and even around family.
You just won a huge lottery what is the first thing you'll buy?
I’d buy a house with a room that would be my library/office. It would have a padlock and soundproof walls. I’d put in a security system around the room.
Entice us, what future projects are you considering?
Well, I’m working on the rest of the Connections series. One is about ready to be sent to be published. The other is in second draft mode. Other than that, I’m working on a romantic suspense story and a suspense thriller novella. Truth be told, I’m writing about a dozen stories right now. J It all depends on the mood I’m in.
If I came to visit early in the morning would you impress me as being more like a chirpy bird or a grumpy bear?
I used to be a morning person, but that was before I lived with so many people and discovered insomnia was becoming a constant companion. Now, I’m grumpy and just want to get back to bed. J
What are the most important attributes for remaining sane as a writer?
First of all, writers cannot ignore their muse. They have to listen or the muse will drive them insane. I’ve named mine Pest. She is one and never lets me rest. You have to write every chance you get. If a story needs to get out of your head, you have to find the time. If you don’t, you’ll go crazy as well as everyone else around you.
How do you develop your plots and your characters? Do you use any set formula?
I am very weird that way. I play a plot around in my head weeks to months before ever writing anything down. I’ll dream about it as I got to sleep at night. It is from those moments before sleep and during dreams that the plot and characters develop and morph into something more than a simple story that would fill ten pages. After weeks of doing this, Pest starts beating at my brain to get the story out.
We have a tour wide giveaway and the prizes are 5 e-copies of "Deep Connections".
