Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer

My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

This book grabbed me from the git-go and never let up! The story unfolds brilliantly, transporting the reader on a horrific journey. Samantha Blair, an untrained psychic, has unwittingly become witness to a deranged serial killer’s mad spree. Her “gift” exacts a terrible toll mentally and physically. What happens during her visions is truly the stuff from which nightmares spring.

When Sam reports her visions to the police she is dismissed as a crackpot, at first, then later must endure an hours-long interrogation when the detail she reports flags her as a prime suspect in the brutal slayings. Only one detective takes her seriously, and as the body count continues to rise he enlists her help in tracking the killer.

Brant Sutherland and Sam Blair are a charismatic couple that I could not help but like. Both, imperfect, yet together they become a force to be reckoned with – an unstoppable duo determined to do whatever is necessary in order to protect others, even at enormous personal cost. This mesmerizing horror-thriller is a must-read for any fan of the genre.
